IT infrastructure · 5 pillars

Designed by WAM. Built to the design.

Data centres, networks, migrations, and the operations around them. We survey, design, and lead the project. Specialist delivery partners install, cable, and migrate to our design, under our project management — one contract, one point of accountability.

Section 01

Five pillars, one engagement model.

Every pillar runs the same way: WAM scopes and designs it, partners build it to that design, WAM verifies the result before you sign it off.

01

Data centre design and build

Planning, architectural design, rack layouts and structured cabling — designed by WAM, built to that design under our oversight.

  • Data centre planning and architectural design
  • Rack layouts
  • Server racks and PDUs
  • Structured cabling — copper and fibre installation, testing, labelling
  • Patch-panel and cable management
  • Fibre splicing and certification
  • Server, storage and network equipment installation
  • Virtualisation, operating systems, configuration and commissioning

02

Networks and security

LAN/WAN, switching, routing, Wi-Fi, firewalls and segmentation — designed as one topology, not bought as a list of boxes.

  • LAN and WAN
  • Switching and routing
  • Wi-Fi
  • Firewalls
  • Network segmentation

03

Migration and continuity

Relocations, migrations and disaster recovery — where the runbook and the rehearsal are the whole story, and the move itself is the easy part.

  • Site assessment and relocation planning
  • Inventory and risk management
  • Shutdown and startup planning
  • Equipment packing, transportation, re-racking, cabling and testing
  • Data centre, server, storage, cloud, application and workload migration
  • DR site design and backup infrastructure
  • Replication and business continuity planning
  • DR testing and failover

04

Cloud and hybrid IT

Assessment first, then the migration that assessment justifies — hybrid, private or public cloud on Azure or AWS, with backup and DR designed in.

  • Cloud assessment
  • Cloud migration
  • Hybrid and private cloud
  • Azure and AWS infrastructure
  • Backup and DR

05

Operations and support

Monitoring, maintenance, asset services and the professional services around them — scoped per engagement, with terms agreed rather than sold as a tier.

  • Infrastructure, environmental and capacity monitoring
  • Remote hands
  • Preventive maintenance and break/fix
  • Hardware and network support, onsite engineer
  • IT asset inventory and decommissioning
  • Secure data destruction, equipment disposal and asset remarketing
  • Consulting, audits, capacity planning, documentation
  • Project management and technical surveys

Section 02

Who does what, at every stage.

WAM is in the room from the first survey to the last handover. Partners are contracted once the specification exists and carry the physical work from delivery on. Nothing moves to the next stage without written acceptance.

Two lanes: WAM on all six stages, partners contracted at sourcing and executing from delivery. Coral ticks are the acceptance gates.
  1. 01Survey and assessment

    WAM

Technical survey, site assessment, inventory, power, cooling and capacity review, and the constraints nobody wrote down. Ends with a written picture of what you actually have.

  2. 02Design and specification

    WAM

Architecture, rack layouts, cabling design, network topology, equipment specification, and the runbooks a migration or DR cutover will be executed from. Vendor-neutral, and yours to take elsewhere if you want.

  3. 03Sourcing and mobilisation

    WAM leads, partners contracted

Selecting and contracting the right specialist partners for the work, procurement against the specification, and scheduling around your operating windows.

  4. 04Delivery and oversight

    Partners execute, WAM runs it

Partners install, cable, re-rack, migrate. WAM runs project management, change control, milestone tracking, and inspection against the design — including saying no when work doesn't meet it.

  5. 05Commissioning and handover

    Partners test, WAM verifies

Acceptance testing, cable certification, failover testing where it applies. You receive as-built documentation, labelling schedules and an asset register — handed over, not promised.

  6. 06Support

    Optional, ongoing

Monitoring, preventive maintenance, break/fix and remote hands, delivered by partners under our coordination. What that covers — hours, response, scope — is agreed per engagement rather than offered as a standard tier.

The drawing comes before the rack.

Survey, then specification, then anything physical. It is the stage clients are most often asked to skip, and the one that decides what the rest of the project costs.

Section 03

How we run it.

The same things we hold to in software, applied to physical infrastructure through partners rather than built in-house.

Senior-led

The engineer who surveys the site writes the design and stays on through delivery. The people who scope it own it — the same rule as our software work.

Gated milestones

Written acceptance at each stage. Infrastructure does not run in weekly sprints, so this is the equivalent discipline: you always know exactly where the project stands.

Vendor-neutral

We specify what the site needs. We do not resell hardware and carry no vendor quota, so nothing in the design is there because someone needed to shift it.

Documented

As-builts, labelling schedules, asset registers. The part most infrastructure projects skip and every client later regrets.

Honest scoping

We will tell you when the answer is smaller than the question — that you do not need a new facility, you need to fix airflow; that you do not need a migration, you need a DR site.

Section 04

Straight answers.

Do you carry out the installation yourselves?

No. WAM surveys, designs, and leads the project; specialist delivery partners carry out the physical work — racking, cabling, transport, installation — to our design and under our project management. You hold one contract with one point of accountability.

Where do you deliver infrastructure work?

Across Pakistan, and expanding into the UAE. Our offices are in Austin and Karachi; delivery partners are engaged per project and per location.

Do you sell hardware?

No. We are vendor-neutral: we specify equipment against what the site needs and procure against that specification, but we do not resell hardware and hold no vendor quota. The design is yours to take elsewhere if you want.

What are your support response times?

There is no standard tier to quote. Support is optional and scoped per engagement — hours, response, and coverage are agreed in writing for your site rather than offered as a package.

How do we start?

With a survey. Tell us what you are running and what has to change, and a senior engineer replies within two business days to scope a site assessment.
