Privacy policy

Last updated: 11 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information WAM Corp collects through this website, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf, and the choices you have. We have written it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

In short: we only collect information you deliberately send us — through a form, or by asking our site assistant a question — we use it to reply to you, we do not sell it, and we do not run advertising or tracking cookies on this site.

Who we are

WAM Corp builds custom software and AI-enabled systems. We operate from offices in Austin, Texas (United States) and Karachi (Pakistan), with remote delivery worldwide. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

For any privacy question or request, contact info@wam-corp.com.

Information you give us

We collect information only when you choose to submit one of our forms. We do not require an account, and you can browse the entire site without providing anything.

Quote and enquiry form (on our contact page). We collect your name, email address, company name, and your message. You may optionally tell us your budget range, timeline, and the service you are interested in.

Job application form (on our careers pages). We collect your name, email address, the role you are applying for, a link to your résumé or portfolio, and your message. We ask for a link rather than a file — this site does not accept file uploads, so we never receive or store your CV as a document.

Resource downloads (for our playbook and checklist). We collect your email address so we can send you the resource and occasional related updates.

Each submission also records which page it came from, so we know what prompted you to get in touch.

Our forms include a hidden anti-spam field. It is never shown to you and collects nothing about you — it exists only to catch automated submissions.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs of requests to this site, which include IP addresses, browser and device information, the pages requested, and timestamps. We use these to keep the site running, understand broad traffic patterns, and diagnose problems such as broken links.

We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, analytics scripts, or tag managers on this site. The only thing this site stores in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, kept in local storage so the site remembers how you like to read it. It contains no identifier and is never sent to us or anyone else. Clearing your browser data removes it.

The Ask WAM assistant

This site offers an optional AI assistant called Ask WAM, which answers questions about our services and how we work. It only runs if you open it — if you never do, nothing described in this section happens.

What is sent. When you send a message, that message and the earlier messages in that same conversation are sent to our assistant service so it can understand the question and write a grounded reply. Please do not put confidential or personal details into it: it is a tool for questions about WAM Corp, and anything sensitive belongs in a direct conversation with us instead.

What we keep. We save the conversation — your messages and the assistant's replies — together with the date and time, the country the request came from, and whether the assistant was able to answer. We read these to find questions it handles badly and to improve the material it draws on. We do not use them to train an AI model, and we do not sell or share them.

We do not store your IP address. Each conversation is tagged with a one-way scrambled value derived from it, which lets us tell one visitor's questions apart from another's and stop abuse. It cannot be reversed into an address, and we hold nothing alongside it that would name you — unless you type something identifying into the conversation yourself, which is why we ask you not to.

How long. Conversations are deleted automatically 90 days after they happen. If you would like yours removed sooner, contact us — tell us roughly when you used it and what you asked, and we will find and delete it.

No memory between visits. The conversation lives only in the browser tab you are using. Closing it, reloading the page, or starting a new conversation discards it, and the assistant has no recollection of you on a later visit.

Asking out loud. The assistant has a microphone button. It records only while you have started a recording and does nothing until you do — your browser will ask permission the first time, and you can refuse and carry on typing. The recording is sent to Groq, who turn it into text and send the text back. We never store the audio. It is not saved to our systems, not written to our records, and not kept after the words have been read out of it. What we keep is the resulting text, treated exactly like a question you had typed, and covered by everything above.

Hearing the answer. The assistant can read replies aloud. Where it can, it uses a synthesised voice from Cloudflare: the text of the assistant's own answer is sent to them and they return audio. Your question is not sent — only the reply. Otherwise, and whenever that voice is unavailable, it falls back to a voice built into your own browser, which sends nothing anywhere.

The audio of an answer may be kept for a short time so that repeating the same answer does not have to be generated again. It contains only the assistant's own words — nothing about you, and no recording of you. Nothing you say or type is ever turned into audio.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, prepare a proposal or scope for your project.
  • To assess and respond to job applications.
  • To send you a resource you asked for, and occasional related updates you can opt out of at any time.
  • To keep a record of enquiries so we can follow up and understand demand for our services.
  • To answer questions you put to the Ask WAM assistant, for as long as that conversation is open.
  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.

We do not sell your personal information, we do not share it for advertising, and we do not use it to build profiles about you.

Who processes your information

We keep our stack deliberately small. These providers process data on our behalf:

  • Web3Forms — receives form submissions and delivers them to us by email.
  • Google — form submissions and assistant conversations are recorded in private Google Sheets, kept separately from one another.
  • Calendly — powers the scheduling tool on our booking page. If you book a call, the details you enter go to Calendly under their own privacy policy. The scheduler only loads on that page.
  • Hostinger — hosts this website and generates the server logs described above.
  • Cloudflare — runs the Ask WAM assistant service, the model that matches your question to the right material on this site, and, if you ask to hear a reply, the model that turns that reply into speech.
  • Groq — the AI provider that writes the assistant's replies, screens incoming messages for prompt-injection attempts, and turns a voice recording into text if you use the microphone.

Cloudflare and Groq receive assistant messages only, and only when you use the assistant. They do not receive anything you submit through a form.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to do so.

International transfers

We operate from the United States and Pakistan, and the providers above may store or process data in other countries. This means your information may be transferred outside the country you live in, including to jurisdictions with different data protection laws.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and application records for as long as we need them for the purpose described above — to hold a conversation with you, to consider you for a role, or to keep a reasonable business record — and no longer than necessary. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider on their standard schedule. Assistant conversations are deleted automatically after 90 days. If you would like any of it deleted sooner, contact us and we will do it.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information — typically including the right to ask what we hold, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to object to certain uses. We will honour these requests regardless of where you are based.

To make a request, email info@wam-corp.com. We may need to confirm your identity before acting. You can unsubscribe from resource emails at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, and access to the systems holding enquiry data is limited to people at WAM Corp who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive personal information — such as identity documents or financial details — through our forms.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information — for example by adding a new tool to the site — we will update this page and change the date at the top.

Questions about this policy, or about anything we hold about you, can go to info@wam-corp.com. You can also reach us through our contact page.
